The project entailed to construct a two storey Kitchen & 1st Floor Class base extension within the schools existing playground area. Specifically these works involved the following:-

Installation of new mains gas, water and electrical services
Structural and roofing alterations to existing lift motor room
Excavation of existing playground area
Construction of a new build Kitchen & 1st Floor Class base extension
Installation of new playground astro turf/playing surface
Overall project duration – 43 weeks
Original programme duration – 18 weeks – for a ground floor kitchen extension only
Extension of time granted – 25 weeks – due to the additional works instruction of a first floor classbase and planning permission acceptance/approval
Original project works cost total – £279,371.25 nett
Agreed project final account cost total – £474,898.60 nett – due to additional works instructions
